POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations within a manufacturing organization, with a strong focus on accurate financial reporting and closing activities. This role applies sound accounting judgment to resolve issues, supports system and process improvements, and provides reliable financial data that enables effective decision-making across the organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Identify and implement opportunities to improve close efficiency and accuracy Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and documentation Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues Provide accounting guidance throughout the organization Provide leadership support to the accounting team members EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced excel experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Leadership experience in an accounting environment Strong written and verbal communication skills WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Primarily office-based with long periods of sitting and computer usage Limited exposure to manufacturing environment; Personal Protective Equipment required on manufacturing floor Occasional overnight travel to manufacturing facilities may be required During certain business cycles, there may be a need to work extended hours Quality Enclosures is an EOE / Drug-Free Workplace
