Financial Reporting & Closing Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet reports. Reconcile key accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively. 2. IFRS & PGC Compliance Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS and PGC. Interpret and apply complex accounting standards to business transactions. Monitor new regulations and assess the impact on company accounting processes. Support internal and external auditors with documentation and explanations. 3. Balance Sheet & Provisions Management Perform detailed analysis of Balance Sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Reconcile provision accounts Oversee asset accounting, depreciation, and impairment assessments. Recommend adjustments and improvements to maintain Balance Sheet health. 4. Policies, Procedures & Internal Controls Develop, update, and maintain accounting policies and standard operating procedures. Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance across the accounting function. Drive process improvements and standardization in accounting operations. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, AP and AR teams to ensure aligned financial information. Provide technical accounting guidance to non-finance stakeholders. Participate in system enhancements or ERP improvements. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification preferred: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. Experience 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong background in IFRS, knowledge of Spanish Gaap (PGC) and French Gaap is a big plus Proven experience in P&L closing and Balance Sheet management Experience drafting accounting policies and procedural documentation. Experience in an international or audit environment is a strong plus. Skills Deep technical accounting knowledge. Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) preferred. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, including ability to explain complex topics clearly. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
