What you'll do Month-end close ownership Lead the month-end close process end-to-end Prepare and review all key balance sheet reconciliations Prepare revenue and cost of revenue accruals Maintain fixed assets, prepayments, and payroll journals Client money and settlement integrity Daily reconciliation of client money balances Monitor settlement cycles across our strategic partners Maintain settlement tracker and documentation Regulatory & Audit support Support DFSA prudential reporting schedules Prepare VAT and corporate tax reconciliations Own the audit PBC process and documentation Process rigor and documentation Lead finance process optimisation and automation efforts Drive improvements in reconciliations, reporting, and settlement controls What we're looking for Professional qualification CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent. Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, accounting practice and/or in technology companies with a focus on regulated environment, reconciliations and settlement flows. Experience in fintech, payments, or high-volume transaction environments. Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for data. Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Highly organized with a commitment to continuous process improvement. Ability to manage a diverse workload while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting platforms.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will own the end-to-end month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing key balance sheet reconciliations and managing revenue and cost accruals. Key duties also involve ensuring client money and settlement integrity through daily reconciliation and monitoring settlement cycles with strategic partners.
