Job Description As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our North American Regulatory Reporting team who are responsible for the delivery of regulatory returns for current and new markets. A key part of the role will be managing the regulatory requirements for our established North American markets, ensuring all obligations for duty, taxes, and ad-hoc requests are met accurately and on time. The North American market is expanding at a rapid pace which presents a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in process improvement and a collaborative mindset. As the project lead for new territory launches, you will liaise with external regulators, partners, and internal stakeholders to establish robust reporting frameworks, ensuring a seamless transition into day-to-day operations. This role is eligible for the Company’s hybrid working policy. Qualifications ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders. A keen interest or proven experience in process improvement and project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated initiative with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly in a dynamic environment. Proactive and highly organised, with a proven ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills. Encompassing macros, lookups, and data analysis functions. Experienced in conducting complex reconciliations and has ability to analyse large datasets to identity and resolve discrepancies. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. An interest in the gambling industry and sports is desirable. Additional Information Managing assigned territories to ensure the accurate calculation of duties and taxes. Acting as the project lead for regulatory reporting in new North American territories, overseeing setup and ongoing live market operations. Developing and maintaining a robust control environment to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of all submissions. Liaising with external regulators, partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure compliance. Coordinating and managing regulatory audits, acting as a key point of contact for external auditors. Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting frameworks. Working with Senior Management to develop and maintain reporting templates. Building collective expertise by mentoring and supporting team members through regular meetings and objectives.
