Description

Financial Accounting & Closing ● Maintain accurate general ledger records ● Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing ● Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) ● Ensure correct accounting for retail, e-commerce, and marketplace sales ● Handle accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions Revenue & Cash Reconciliation ● Reconcile daily/weekly sales from stores, Shopify, and marketplaces ● Reconcile collections vs sales ● Reconcile courier COD collections ● Investigate discrepancies across systems ● Maintain aging of receivables and pending collections Inventory & Cost Accounting ● Maintain inventory across warehouse, stores, and production ● Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods ● Calculate COGS and product-level costs ● Monitor stock movements, shrinkage, and write-offs ● Support margin analysis per SKU and category Payables, Expenses & Cost Control ● Record supplier invoices and production costs ● Track marketing, shipping, and logistics costs ● Monitor budget vs actuals ● Identify cost leaks and inefficiencies Taxation & Compliance (Egypt) ● Prepare and file VAT returns and payroll taxes ● Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws ● Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors Reporting & Business Support ● Prepare monthly management reports ● Support pricing and campaign profitability analysis ● Provide financial insights to management Required Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration ● CPA/CMA is a plus ● 5–8 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing Technical Skills ● Strong financial and cost accounting knowledge ● Advanced Excel skills ● Experience with accounting software and Shopify ● Ability to reconcile large data sets Core Competencies ● High attention to detail ● Strong analytical skills ● High integrity and confidentiality ● Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities
