Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Duties:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties including recording financial transactions, updating statements, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct general ledger accounting and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with tax preparation and audits.
- Conduct general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in public accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting practices.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Strong 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation tasks.
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares for bookkeeping tasks.
- Understanding of debits and credits in financial transactions.
