YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of consolidated financial reporting experience
Accounting Designation required
Month end close experience
Multi-currency translation
SAP experience is required
Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work successfully in a changing and dynamic environment

THE ROLE:

Our public reporting client, located in downtown Calgary, is in need of a Senior Accountant for a 6-month project. This contract role is a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Manager with accurate and timely monthly close processes
Oversee and review the work of junior staff
Prepare multi-currency consolidated monthly financial statements
Conduct research on accounting standards and provide insights as needed
