Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with local regulations, and oversee daily accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local accounting standards.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and Cooperate Tax regulations and prepare VAT returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zohobook or Tally ERP).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
