EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A CPA designation.
• 3–5 years of public practice accounting experience, with demonstrated knowledge in assurance and taxation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a supervisory or mentoring role is considered an asset.
• A willingness to learn in a constantly changing industry.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in both client service and team development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing review and compilation engagements in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Preparing a variety of tax returns, tax return adjustments, and responding to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requests for information.
• Reviewing the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of colleagues to support team learning and professional growth.
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with clients to maintain strong and trusted relationships.
