So let's get started and build a better future together! ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Lithuania. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring a smooth month-end close, and supporting group-level financial processes across multiple entities. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, playing an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and improving accounting processes. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU WILL DO * Lead monthly close process for the Lithuanian entity * Prepare and post journal entries (payroll, accruals, intercompany, adjustments) * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts * Reconcile intercompany balances across group entities * Prepare accounting data for consolidation purposes * Record payroll and employee-related expenses * Process vendor invoices and support payment workflows * Collaborate with external accountants and auditors * Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements * Contribute to improving accounting processes and efficiency ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE EXPECT * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * 4+ years of accounting experience * Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS / local GAAP) * Experience with month-end close and financial statements preparation * Experience preparing balance sheets and account reconciliations * Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems * High attention to detail and ownership mindset * Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-entity environment ---------------------------------------- NICE TO HAVE * ACCA, CPA, or similar certification (or in progress) * Experience in an international company or group structure * Experience working with external auditors or accounting firms * Familiarity with intercompany accounting * Experience improving processes or implementing new tools Softeq communicates only from @softeq.com [https://softeq.com/] email addresses.
