Description We are looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. An ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. To be successful as a senior accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. Requirements In this role, you will… Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.) Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.) Accurately prepare accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and for external audiences (including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.) Contribute to budgeting/forecast processes Support external & internal audit activities Prepare and record adjusting entries Assist with special projects as necessary In this role, you will need to have… Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance CPA, preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with NetSuite preferred Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in teams as well as prioritize tasks and deliverables Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization, both written and verbal Ability to respond to a fast paced, results oriented, rapidly changing environment Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently on a daily basis What we offer Competitive Salary Medical, Dental, Vision, Mental Health Insurance Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Paid Vacation 9 Paid Company Holidays Annual Bonus Plan 401(k) Plan with company match Career Growth
