We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our consolidated financial reporting across multiple practice entities. What You’ll Do Month-End Close & Financial Integrity Lead and support month-end close processes across multiple entities Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Financial Analysis Perform detailed variance analysis of income statements against budget and prior periods Provide insights to support business decision-making Technical Accounting & GAAP Compliance Research complex accounting topics (equity, debt, leases, etc.) Draft technical memos, policies, and position papers in accordance with US GAAP Ensure ongoing compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Fixed Assets & Inventory Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules, including dental equipment Support inventory tracking and reporting as needed Audit & Compliance Assist with external audits by preparing workpapers and providing documentation Support debt compliance activities Process Improvement & Controls Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting workflows Reporting & Projects Support financial reporting to senior leadership Contribute to ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives Requirements What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred) Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or multi-entity environment strongly preferred) Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP Systems: Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct a plus) Certification: CPA (active or in progress) highly preferred Why Join Specialty Dental Brands?
