POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all clients of the practice, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and with a high standard of service. The majority of the role will involve preparing files for both individual and corporate engagements, including tax returns, year-end working papers, and related filings. The Manager will also review a smaller portion of work prepared by other staff, and act as a key resource for answering questions from both team members and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA designation (in good standing).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge in both personal and corporate tax.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in file preparation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with accounting and tax software.
