Spreetail is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Finance - Accounting team in the EU. We expect successful people to drive the results that impact our larger goals. We are looking for someone to contribute to our timeliness and accuracy of the month-end close.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

• Leading a timely and accurate month-end close process.
• Preparing and delivering high-quality management reports.
• Maintaining up-to-date reconciliations and audit-ready documentation.
• Supporting accurate intercompany and inventory accounting.
• Identifying and implementing accounting process improvements.

WHAT EXPERIENCES WILL HELP YOU IN THIS ROLE:

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail, ecommerce, or a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of UK/EU accounting standards and VAT.
• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting systems and experience with multi-entity reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• High attention to detail and analytical skills and a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently.
