Title:
Senior Accountant
Reports To:
Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities:
· Manage general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
· Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulations
· Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions
· Support payroll, AP/AR, and other transactional functions as needed
· Maintain Job Costing systems
· Perform detailed job costing and track project performance against budgets
· Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
· Work closely with Project Managers to monitor cost variances, billing, and contract compliance
· Manage Finance responsibilities related to payroll
· Perform month-end and year-end financial close activities
· Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports including Bank required reports
· Prepare documents for annual financial statement review and tax returns
· Coordinate Use Tax filings
· Perform research and special projects as requested
· Analyze and resolve financial issues
· Serve as a role model, educator and Subject Matter Expert to others in the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar accounting/reporting role
· Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
· Exceptional learning abilities with natural curiosity
· Ability to reprioritize as needed
· Willingness to contribute to a team in a results-oriented environment
· Ability to work with diverse range of people
· Moderate to Advanced degree of computer and spreadsheet skills
· Experience working with multiple subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
· Knowledge of Construction, Consulting, Architecture and/or Engineering a plus
· Experience with Ajera and/or ComputerEase software a plus
