Description
  • The roleIndependently preparing financial statements and income tax returns across a range of entities, including more complex client groups
  • Managing compliance requirements including BAS, FBT and CGT
  • Tax planning for business and individual clients
  • Working closely with directors on business advisory work
  • Acting as a key client contact and building long-term relationships with your client group
  • Reviewing income tax returns and BAS prepared by junior team members
  • Mentoring junior staff and managing your own workflow with autonomy


  • About you3 to 5 years' public practice experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting principles, including FBT and CGT
  • Exposure to, or a genuine interest in, tax planning and advisory work
  • Confident leading client conversations and building relationships
  • Enjoy supporting and developing junior team members
  • Keen to keep progressing, with a clear path through Supervisor and Manager roles
  • Full working rights in Australia
