This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial analysis, and ensuring accurate, compliant reporting across a multi-entity environment. The Senior Accountant partners with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain consistent accounting practices, support decision-making, and improve financial processes. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Financial Reporting Execute monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger updates Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations Maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAP Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages Business Partnership and Analysis Partner with leadership and operational teams to analyze financial results and provide actionable insights Support budgeting and forecasting processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency Audit and Compliance Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls Cash Management and Cross-Functional Support Partner with Treasury and Payroll or HR teams to support cash management and payroll-related accounting Assist with improving processes that support accurate and timely financial reporting Operations Support Support financial oversight of operations and reporting activities Coordinate with teams on monthly reporting and financial analysis Assist with consolidation of financial results into U.S. reporting Review financial data to ensure alignment with corporate standards Support performance analysis of the franchise network Participate in finance initiatives and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations Advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or similar Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA license or progress toward certification preferred Experience in multi-entity environments preferred Familiarity with reconciliation tools such as BlackLine is a plus Why Join The Learning Experience Opportunity to work in a growing organization.
