Description Copeland Buhl is looking to add a Senior Accountant to our High Net Worth market segment. The High Net Worth market segment guides clients in managing and growing generational wealth, working seamlessly with their team of trusted advisors to deliver strategic insights that align with their financial vision and help preserve their legacy. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for organizing and driving client deliverables individually or as part of a team. Additionally, you will utilize strong technical abilities to ensure thorough compliance. Key Responsibilities: Draft and/or review Trust (1041), Estate (706), and Gift (709) tax returns. Collaborate cross-departmentally to gather information and resolve client matters. Communicate effectively with Trustees and Beneficiaries as needed. Research tax laws and offer support on technical tax issues. Work collaboratively in a team environment with all levels including partners. Share technical expertise to support the firm and clients. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting. Trust, estate, and/or gift tax experience. Proven ability to meet firm standards for chargeable hours and realization. Experience serving as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA). Experience with Individual (1040) and Partnership (1065) tax returns. CCH Axcess Suite experience.
