Our healthcare client is seeking a Senior Accountant on a long term contract basis to help their team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform account analysis, and complete 6-month trend reviews, accruals, and cost center variance analysis
• Perform reconciliations for subledgers and other systems while maintaining books on multiple ledgers
• Maintain month-end close schedule, including balance sheet flux analysis, net income summaries, and preparation of financial metric schedules.
• Support accounting and reporting for six companies, with assignments based on specific expense categories rather than entity ownership.
• Prepare HCI quarterly reporting for California hospitals
• Support interim and annual audits, and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements:???????

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Healthcare industry experience required
• Microsoft Excel (data manipulation)
