Requirements We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting & Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience, preferably with Big 4 or large regional public accounting/audit experience, who is eager to take ownership, lead operational accounting processes, and grow into broader responsibilities. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in strengthening our accounting operations, improving processes, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Day-to-day operational accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close processes. Own critical areas of the general ledger, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis. Support and enhance the use of DelTek as our core operating system; help build best practices and improve system workflows. Build, maintain, and refine Excel models to support financial analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and improve efficiency across the accounting function. Assist with preparation for audits, including supporting documentation, walkthroughs, and process explanations. Partner cross-functionally with operations, FP&A, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment of operational and financial data. Support ad-hoc projects, system improvements, workflow redesigns, and upcoming integrations/acquisitions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Big 4 or large public accounting/audit CPA preferred, CPA-eligible candidates will also be considered Understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and data analysis Experience with ERP systems; DelTek experience preferred Ability to analyze complex accounting issues and propose solutions independently Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and process improvement skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate with minimal supervision PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-eligible coursework
