The Role

• Leads month end deliverables, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and results review
• Owns the rolling cash flow forecast and explains material movements to senior finance
• Advises on the treatment of capital and project spend, including work in progress, intangibles and impairment
• Analyses performance and project spend for management and CFO reporting
• Partners with stakeholders across the business, inside and outside Finance
• Simplifies and automates recurring processes using modern ERP and reporting tools

Background Required

• CA or CPA qualified, with five or more years in financial accounting or financial control
• Strong Australian Accounting Standards knowledge and hands on month end experience
• Experience accounting for capital expenditure, fixed assets or intangibles
• Demonstrated ownership of cash flow forecasting
• Confidence explaining and challenging financial positions with non finance stakeholders
• Full Australian working rights
• Well suited to someone ready for their second move in industry after starting in public practice
