Description Senior Accountant - Winter Springs, FL American Premier Services is seeking a dynamic and talented Full-Time Senior Accountant to join our team! Responsibilities Support the Controller and CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting department. Prepare all general ledger entities, reconciling accounts. Help with the evaluation of internal controls. Prepare and adjust journal entries. Review general ledger accounts. Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals. Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank and credit card accounts to ensure their accuracy. Post daily cash receipts and make bank deposits. Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. Research and correct account discrepancies. Help with financial and operational audits. Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements. Assist in preparation of annual budget. Assist with local, state, and federal government tax filings and other reporting requirements. Assist with tracking and providing Company Certificates of Insurance (COI's) to clients. Assist with annual 401(k) audit. Other special projects and duties as assigned. Requirements A bachelor's degree in accounting, or a bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in accounting, is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting is required.
