KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standard
  • Prepare and post Journal Entries
  • Prepare and maintain General Ledger Account Reconciliations
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring correct transaction recordings and following up on any outstanding balances
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Support the Leadership Team in areas such as internal controls, process optimization, cost control, and tax filings
  • Prepare regular monthly reports and KPIs for the company’s Leadership Team
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and general ledger business support to our non-financial stakeholders across the business
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting policies and procedures
  • Process staff expense claims
  • Review and correct account discrepancies with clients and Worldgo travel team
  • Support clients where needed with missing invoices from hotels and other suppliers to assist in their reconciliations
  • Maintain A/R electronic files and improve organization
  • Chase unpaid commissions from hotels and other suppliers
  • Work with Leadership Team to prepare the annual budget
  • Work with our external accounting firm to prepare yearend financial statements for our Review Engagement
