ABOUT THE POSITION

Our business is growing which is why we are looking to expand our Norwegian team with yet another experienced Accounting Advisor with knowledge of accounting principles and legislation in Norway.

In this role you will be…

• Providing daily accounting services for Norwegian subsidiaries of our Nordic group clients. However, the job description is not limited only to Norwegian companies, you also get to work with other international clients.
• Performing monthly closing tasks and reconciliations
• Preparing financial statements independently from A to Z
• Statutory, legal, and tax reporting and consulting
• Communication with external customers and partners

  Who are we looking for?
  To succeed in this position, we believe that you have a strong background in accounting and closing of the books independently, and you are preferably an authorized Norwegian accountant. We are also open to recruit auditors who have had some operational experience in accounting or have the wish/interest to work more operationally with accouning.
  Since you will work with the Norwegian subsidiaries of our Nordic group clients, you need to have proficiency in Norwegian accounting and legislation. Previous experience of annual reporting in Maestro årsoppgjørsystem is a requirement, ERP systems and knowledge in payroll is also desirable but not a must.
  We believe that you are a person who thrives in a dynamic and international environment and you use your communication and interaction skills to develop strong customer and internal relations. At Staria we have English as organizational language so communication skills in English are mandatory, Norwegian and other language skills are considered a plus.
