About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives. This leadership role is essential to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our finance function.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of accountants in a collaborative, high-performance environment
Manage workload distribution, training, and issue resolution
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit processes
General Ledger & Close Management
Maintain general ledger accuracy through journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
Lead month-end and year-end close activities
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in developing budgets and forecasts
Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights
Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight
Manage AP and AR functions to ensure timely processing and cash flow optimization
Process Improvement & Financial Analysis
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Deliver financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership
?? Tax & Regulatory Compliance
Support tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Monitor regulatory changes and assess financial impact
What We’re Looking For
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling)
Soft Skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Attributes
Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
Familiarity with audit procedures and tax compliance
Proven track record of process improvement and team development
