As Senior Accounting Manager, you will be at the heart of egg’s financial operations in France, leading your team and being their coach and mentor to ensure our accounting is always pitch-perfect. What you’ll be doing Lead and supervise all accounting operations in France, from day-to-day bookkeeping to quarterly closings and annual accounts. Ensure full legal, tax, and regulatory compliance, coordinating closely with our external chartered accountant. Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and bank reconciliations with precision. Oversee suppliers, general expenses, VAT recovery, and client accounting including invoicing, collections, and balance justification. Monitor intercompany transactions and maintain accurate fixed asset records. Lead, coach, and support the accounting team in Paris while managing collaboration with outsourced partners. Must haves (We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.) 8+ years of proven experience in accounting, including previous team management experiences. Degree in Accounting/Finance (DCG, DSCG or equivalent). Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and tax compliance. Experience leading and supervising a team. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage (Intacct or X3) or Oracle (NetSuite Fluency in French and English, spoken and written. (No scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.) Eligible to work in France and able to commute to our office in Paris. Nice to haves Knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and tax compliance is considered a strong asset.
