REQUIREMENTS
· Position: Full-time
· Education and Experience: BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3-5 years practical accounting experience
· Preferred experience and knowledge in affordable housing
· Expert skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
· Experience in preparation of multiple budget submissions.
· Extensive experience and a solid understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and problem solving.
· Excellent demonstrated leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
· Complete other duties as required.
· Have at the time of employment and maintain throughout employment, reliable transportation, a valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
· Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner with residents, supervisors and vendors, regular and predictable attendance.

Pay: $80,753.34 - $87,000.00 per year

· Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of the properties.
· Oversee the monthly GL entries, balancing all bank accounts for the properties.
· Provide oversight and accounting and financial advice, training and direction to junior accounting staff as needed.
· Preparation and oversight in the distribution of accurate multiple monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, and budget variance reports to management, owners, lenders and state and federal agencies
· Accurate and detailed record keeping
· Written and verbal communication with Owners, Lenders, Investors, state and federal agencies.
· Report to the President and Director of Operations.
· Complete other duties as required.
