EXPERTISE & SOFT SKILLS: WHAT YOU OFFER

Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or Economics
5 years+ experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting
Proven experience in Financial Accounting in a financial institution or in an audit firm with founded IFRS and HGB knowledge
Sound knowledge of finance/tax domain, its major processes or regulatory framework
Ability to collaborate and work in a team effectively
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail orientated and result-driven working style
Proficiency in MS office tools (Excel, Words, PPT, etc.)
Full professional fluency in German and English

Responsibilities

Performing and coordinating accounting activities with focus on HGB accounting
Operating and coordinating first level accounting controls, document and report control results, investigating control issues and following up resolution of issues
Production of consolidated HGB Balance Sheet for the yearly Income Tax Return
Contribution to Financial Reporting especially Local Regulatory Reporting (including data quality controls)
Contribution to other Financial Accounting and Reporting activities (e.g. new products, transfer pricing documentation, year-end audit)
