Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the Senior Accounting Officer, Specialist is responsible to perform analytical duties which require an understanding of the Department’s financial system (CGI-Advantage), financial reporting database (InfoAdvantage), and the automated time reporting system (Staff Central). The Incumbent will analyze the establishment and modification of Projects for appropriateness based on the Department’s coding structure, policy and procedure. They will provide direction to District Project Control Officers, Accounting, and Program staff related to Project setup to ensure accurate reporting of expenditures to control agencies, federal and local entities.
