Job Title: Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting in the preparation of SEC filings, researching technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP, and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards. You will work on special projects, manage cross-department initiatives, and contribute to financial report analysis and monthly closing procedures. Responsibilities Assist in preparing SEC filings, including iXBRL, and other external reports. Research and document technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP. Discuss analysis and conclusions with senior management and outside experts. Assist management in the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory guidance. Perform special projects, managing them across departments until completion. Provide recommendations, work through problem resolution, and implement improvements. Assist with monthly soft-close and month-end close procedures. Prepare journal entries and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts. Review and analyze financial reports by developing summaries and interpretations. Monitor quarterly compliance with internal controls and assist in audit requests. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Knowledge of finance and accounting principles. Demonstrated abilities in financial analysis and strategy. Advanced proficiency in Excel. CPA designation. 4 years of experience in a large accounting firm or finance department. Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications SEC financial reporting experience preferred. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion preferred. Ability to train, coach, and motivate staff. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work environment with in-office work from Monday to Thursday and work-from-home flexibility on Fridays.
