JOB OVERVIEW :

Established in 2008, HuksefluxUSA Inc. is an established instrumentation distributor specializing in the sale of meteorological and industrial sensor products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and have a solid understanding of tax regulations, and proficient in the use of QuickBooks desktop. As a Senior Accounting Specialist, the candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, general ledger reconciliation, and collaborate routinely with our sales and management team.

Duties:

  • Generate customer invoices in QuickBooks and submit to customer AP for payment as needed
  • Collect and report sales tax on non-exempt sales orders as needed
  • Oversee and manage accounts receivables and collections
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure all entries are recorded accurately in QuickBooks
  • Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax return filings on a timely basis
  • Prepare reports in QuickBooks and collaborate with our sales team as needed: generate customized sales reports, provide insights for strategic planning, etc.
  • Identify and streamline processes to improve efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations affecting the organization

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in technical accounting, reconciliation, and financial auditing
  • Proficient in QuickBooks desktop (Enterprise) a must!
  • Proficient in MS Excel and spreadsheet generation
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Solid communication skills to effectively present financial information to the management and sales team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
