About the Job As a Senior Accounting Specialist at Allianz Technology SE, you will play a critical role in the preparation and publication of local GAAP (HGB) financial statements for Allianz Technology SE, as well as the reporting package under IFRS for the parent company, Allianz SE. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and optimize processes to support the organization's financial objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills and expertise in IFRS and HGB accounting, along with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and German. Additionally, this role entails being the coverage officer for local accounting officers. You will also serve as the SPOC for Restructuring & IT decommissioning topics, necessitating close collaboration with Group Accounting, HR, and controlling teams What You Do Prepare and publish local GAAP (HGB) financial statements for Allianz Technology SE. Compile the reporting package under IFRS for the parent company, Allianz SE. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and optimize processes to support financial objectives. Act as the coverage officer for local accounting officers. Serve as the SPOC for Restructuring & IT decommissioning topics. Collaborate closely with Group Accounting, HR, and controlling teams. Communicate effectively with internal and external auditors. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy in accounting practices. Stay updated with emerging trends and regulations in accounting and recommend solutions to improve processes What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in IFRS and HGB accounting Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field Fluent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and tools (SAP). Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
