Senior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) in the Rhine-Main Area

Your potential tasks:

In this position, you will assume a key role within the finance team and make a significant contribution to the further development of a modern senior accounting function:

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and participation in proper consolidation.
• Active participation in the optimization, standardization and digitalization of accounting processes as well as the further development of existing finance structures.
• Central contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments regarding accounting and bookkeeping issues.
• Participation in cross-departmental finance projects as well as further development and optimization of the accounting systems used - especially in the DATEV environment
• Responsibility for selected operational financial processes, including payment transactions and support during annual financial statement and operational audits.

What you bring to the table:

You combine professional expertise with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to work:

• Several years of professional experience in accounting or financial accounting
• Excellent knowledge of accounting according to German GAAP (HGB), ideally also IFRS.
• Solid experience in using DATEV
• Enjoyment in questioning processes and making them more efficient.
• Independent, structured and motivated work style
• Openness to a dynamic business environment with plenty of creative freedom

Ideally, you should also bring:

• Further training to become a certified accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Experience in a group or corporate environment
• Knowledge of consolidation
• Points of contact with the IT, technology or digital industry
