Description

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team at Ingrebourne Valley Ltd on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to continue permanently. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in producing management accounts
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to use self-initiative where necessary
  • Sage50 experience beneficial but not essential
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: Up to £33,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the Monthly Management Accounts
  • Overseeing x2 accounts assistants and managing the accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Daily management of the group bank accounts
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
  • Reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Reconciliation and submission of quarterly VAT and Aggregates Levy returns
  • Generate Royalty calculations and reconciliations
  • Assisting in the annual company audit
  • Support to the Group Finance Manager and Finance Director
