As our business continues to develop, we are seeking a Senior Accounts and Audit Assistant to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in managing diverse bookkeeping responsibilities while contributing to the ongoing success of a collaborative and highly professional, comfortable environment. Comprehensive training and support will be provided; however we do stress that experience in practice is essential.

• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients, working alongside both seniors and clients in preparing accounts.
• Accounts preparation and filing.
• Preparing Audits alongside a senior.
• VAT return preparation and submission.
• Personal and company tax returns.
• Liasing with both HMRC and clients.

Candidates should:

• Have at least three years experience in accounts, ideally in practice.
• Have at least one year of experience in audit.
• Be motivated to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Possess good time management and organisational skills while working in a fast paced environment.
• Have up to date knowledge on relevant tax regulations.
• Show attention to detail while under pressure.
• Have experience in accountancy software such as Sage and Quickbooks.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients and colleagues.
• Ideally have one year of experience in Audit.
