Description
We have an exciting opening for Senior Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager, to support the full investment lifecycle — from purchase and operations to performance management and reporting, across Allianz entities. This role reports to both the Head of Investments and the Head of Accounting & Reporting. Responsibilities: Investment Management Support on in depth investment performance review, risk and investment limits monitoring, as well as investment mandate review. Support annual outsourcing assessment and agreement management. Support risk control requirements on Investments. Operations Trade booking, reconciliation and settlement in SAP IMA (Investment module) and SAP CAP (Accounting). Resolve operational issues that arise between Fund manager and custodian. Reporting Manage the accounting activities during monthly, quarterly and annual closings (i.e. journal postings, reconciliations, transaction matching), including uploads into Group reporting system. Support on group, statutory and regulatory reporting in accordance with local / international accounting standards and group policies, including working with auditors during the year end audit process. Others Maintain up-to-date processes, workflows, and SOPs, ensuring adherence with processes and controls. Support in/Drive change projects and process improvement initiatives. Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned. Capabilities and Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy and Finance or equivalent. At least 5 years of relevant experience. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail and good team player. Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills. Experience in Investment reporting and SAP financial accounting and investment system will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the full investment lifecycle, including investment performance review and risk monitoring. Additionally, it includes managing accounting activities during financial closings and supporting group reporting.
