Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides direct support to Crane P8-A FST team Works with FST team member to support the Platform and System OEMs, FRCs, Naval Air Commands, Squadrons, and Fleet personnel Coordinates with the Crane logistics team to accomplish tasks required to ensure a supportable product is fielded Reviews, analyzes, and comments on all CDRLs, Briefs, Plans and engineering source data for adherence to program requirements Participates in weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual meetings as required Provides direct support to FST Team Lead in all areas directly and indirectly related to logistics support across lifecycle sustainment of system Ensures supportability methodologies and approaches are in accordance with the latest DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and instructions REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE: Bachelor’s degree and 6 years or more of related experience or equivalent; master's and 4 years or more experience Knowledge of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives (TDs) Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented Thrives in a deadline-driven environment Able to prioritize and manage multiple project assignments Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Project) including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software applications is required Interim secret required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process US Citizenship required DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Prior experience with life-cycle and acquisition logistics Maintenance Plan experience Knowledge of the 4790.2D Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
