We are the world’s largest non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children and young people who don’t have, or who are at risk of losing, parental care.
We are now looking for a capable Senior Acquisition Officer to develop, test, learn and grow our acquisition programme.

The applicable right to work in the UK on a permanent and full-time contract is required.

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage acquisition campaigns end-to-end across multiple channels (digital, lead generation, DRTV, telemarketing, face-to-face).
  • Support, train and monitor fundraising agencies, including occasional UK travel for campaign visits.
  • Deliver early retention activities to engage new donors and improve conversion and retention rates.
  • Oversee data management and reporting in Salesforce, ensuring accurate coding, reconciliation and trend analysis.
  • Ensure high standards of compliance, following the Code of Fundraising Practice and wider regulatory requirements.
  • Handle supporter communications professionally

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable experience in managing successful campaigns for individual giving or direct marketing.
  • Confident at working independently to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks by prioritising effectively.
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills.
  • A hands-on approach to all aspects of the job.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and report on activities.
  • Desire to evaluate and implement change to improve processes.
  • Excellent data skills in working with CRM systems and online platforms to consider the best target audiences, monitor and report on performance, and recommend best strategy for future activity.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, and occasionally outside normal office hours.
  • Computer literate and confident in using all MS Office software
If you are self-motivated with strong communication skills and excellent attention detail, looking for a pivotal role within a friendly, flexible, and supportive team, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
