Our client, Aspen, is seeking a pricing model developer to join their Pricing team. What you’ll do:

As a Senior Analyst in Pricing Model Development at Aspen, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the priorities of the Actuarial team. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the preparation and implementation of modelling team plans, delivering key actuarial projects, and providing high-quality actuarial services. You will also be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with various internal functions such as Underwriters, Finance, Claims, Ceded Reinsurance. Your ability to gather information effectively and prioritise assigned actuarial projects will be crucial for your success in this role.

  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the Modelling team plans
  • Deliver key Actuarial projects in line with Actuarial strategic vision
  • Perform, analyse and document conclusions to assist Actuarial management with business decisions
  • Provide appropriate level of documentation and training to all users of actuarial work
  • Contribute to improving the Aspen actuarial process
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with Underwriters, Finance, Claims, Ceded Reinsurance, and other internal functions
  • Gather information and contribute to prioritisation of assigned actuarial projects

The ideal candidate for the Senior Actuarial Analyst position at Aspen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in actuarial analysis, modelling, and communication. You are proficient in programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, C#, R etc., which is advantageous for this role.
