The Senior Actuarial Analyst-Risk is a member of the Corporate Risk Management organization providing mathematical and technical support in the risk management of insurance products. This role works as a member of the team under general direction with a focus on financial risk management and capital management. This role will also work in collaboration with experts across the company including finance, investments, actuarial, and accounting to quantify, analyze and influence decisions on financial risk and capital. What you do: Supports completion of projects for actuarial functions including: Building new or modifying existing asset and liability valuation models in C# or Macro-enabled Excel spreadsheets Business and related forecasts Valuation, financial reporting, and analyses Support investment management functions, including: Understanding and analysis of hedge efficiency Building or modifying C# derivatives valuation models Liquidity assessment and management Financial risk reporting Assist in preparation of financial reports, memorandums, and other required actuarial supporting analyses including: Requests from external auditors, state regulators, and rating agencies Communicates actuarial results to cross-functional areas including: Business unit and other Support unit personnel Other actuaries Assist, performs, or reviews actuarial research Assist with training and direction of other entry-level actuaries Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g., generative AI). What you bring: 2-3 years’ of Actuarial experience required Four-year degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related field required Completion of a minimum of 3-4 SOA Exams Advanced experience with Excel, SQL, and object-oriented programming (C#) Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
