SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

• Actuarial exams (e.g. FIA, DAV, FCAS or equivalent) completed, at least 3 years of actuarial experience, with a strong focus on reserving
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial techniques, especially those related to reserving (e.g., chain-ladder, Bornhuetter-Ferguson, and stochastic models)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
• Solid understanding of European insurance regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards (IFRS, Solvency II)
• Excellent communication skills in Englisch and German, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Provide actuarial consulting services focused on reserving, including the analysis of claims data, reserve estimation, and risk modeling
• Lead and manage the preparation of reserve reports for clients, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Develop and refine actuarial models for reserving purposes, using relevant methodologies
• Collaborate with clients to interpret findings and provide actionable recommendations for improving their reserve positions
• Mentor junior analysts, offering guidance and development opportunities
