Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Senior Clerk to support our Engineering and Operations teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys administrative work, and is comfortable navigating technical systems. You’ll play a key role in coordinating service connections, managing residential account setups, and supporting various operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up residential accounts for new subdivisions
  • Schedule daily service disconnects/reconnects with electricians
  • Receive and document power outage calls; forward to Operations
  • Process meter installation requests using Mcare
  • Respond to legal inquiries and assist with insurance-related customer concerns
  • Prepare and submit MEARIE report forms
  • Coordinate underground break repairs and prepare purchase orders
  • Arrange ground rod locates via Ontario One Call
  • Follow up with ESA on connection authorizations
  • Scan and record timesheets; review invoices for contract work
  • Provide administrative support to Engineering and Operations leadership
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
