This role plays a key part in strengthening operational systems that underpin high-quality support for children, families, and carers

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Support: Offer informal leadership to administrative staff, fostering their development and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of administrative procedures, identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
  • General Administration: Carry out a range of administrative tasks essential to the smooth running of a fostering organisation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work aligns with current legislation and reflects Fostering London’s values, policies, and procedures.
  • Support compliance with internal and external standards, including safeguarding and data protection protocols.
  • Engage in appraisal processes and take ownership of your professional development, modelling a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Improvement Lead to monitor performance indicators and support service evaluations and audits.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in administrative roles, ideally within social care or fostering
  • A collaborative, supportive approach to teamwork
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning

This role is predominantly home-based, with an expectation to travel to the office in London one day per week.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
