DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
The Airspace Operations Services Division is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team located at MITRE in McLean, VA. Our division is focused on achieving integrated and safe transportation systems that enable mobility for a better life in the United States and abroad. We specialize in the optimization, streamlining, and performance of operations in the National Airspace System.
The Division, a part of the Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD) FFRDC, develops concepts, tools, prototypes, metrics, data analytics and architectures, and advises the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and non-Federal partners on operational best practices. The Division partners with other elements of CAASD, with MITRE Labs, with other MITRE centers, and with industry to provide innovative end-to-end approaches to pressing airspace and transportation system problems.
