Description
Performing other duties as assigned to support the success of the squadron and the Space Force Delta. 15+ years of relevant DoD/IC or industry work experience, with a focus on personnel management and administrative support. Extensive experience working with DoD or IC personnel systems, such as DCPDS, MyPay, MilPDS, and MS365 Office Suite. Strong understanding of Defense Department and/or Space Force organizational structure, policies, and culture. Proven ability to manage high-level taskers and utilize reporting systems effectively. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Candidates with the following qualifications will stand out: Relevant experience in Space Force Combat Forces Command (CFC) or Space Systems Command (SSC). Familiarity with systems such as Teams, SharePoint, PROPS, and Task Management Tool (TMT). Project management experience, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities. Knowledge of space operations, aerospace systems, or related industries. Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Experience in workforce development, including training programs, mentoring, and succession planning. Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies to enhance team collaboration and operational efficiency. Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an inclusive work environment. Bachelor's degree (required). Masters degree (desired). 10 years of related professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree. Primary work location: Colorado Springs, CO. Remote work opportunity: Limited, with occasional flexibility. Travel requirements: Up to 20% within the continental United States.
