SENIOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Excel Recruitment is seeking a senior office Administrator for our client who is a market leader in the construction industry. This is an essential position within the business and will provide administration support to a number of teams. The ideal candidate will be task orientated and highly organised. This position would suit an experienced administrator, currently working in a similar environment and is looking for a new challenge.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially One Drive, SharePoint and Excel
  • Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to prepare tenders and presentations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised and task orientated with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Previous experience in construction preferrable

Responsibilities
  • Support operations across multiple departments, including management, commercial, site liaison, and office management.
  • Manage administration tasks to ensure everything runs efficiently.
  • Maintain and improve document control systems to keep all records up to date and well organised.
  • Ensure systems and procedures are followed to a high standard to support smooth operations.
  • Drive efficiency and quality across all company activities, helping the business run more effectively.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Site Support, Office Support, and Business Management.
  • Assist with managing tenders, including collating data and writing content
  • Manage documents in relation to staff training, health & safety as well as admin for sub-contractors.
  • Ensure that all admin for the management of the company fleet is kept up to date including insurance and service records
