We arelooking to appoint a Senior Administrator/PA to the Vice Principal – Head of Learning, Teaching and Research to join our busy learning, teaching and research department. You will provide extensive and confidential support to the Vice Principal - Head of Learning, Teaching and Research with a range of administrative duties including minute taking, preparing reports and monitoring budget expenditure. Please note that there will be an expectation that the post holder will be flexible and show a willingness to work on more generic admin tasks such as completing purchase orders and providing admin support to the wider lecturing and research teams. It is therefore essential that you are adaptable and happy to work on a range of tasks.
You will need to be an experienced administrator and have strong diary management and organisational skills. You will need to have the ability to multi-task and be able to work to a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent IT skills, especially using Microsoft Office. Experience taking notes and drafting minutes are essential for this role.
You will need to be a self-starter, with the ability to get on well with people, be highly organised in order to meet deadlines, and work to a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach to work and a friendly, approachable nature are key to being successful in this role.
