Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Senior Admissions Advisor to join our Admissions team. This is a leadership role that involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, managing a team of advisors, and contributing to the development of strategic recruitment initiatives. The Senior Admissions Advisor will serve as a key point of contact for students, provide expert advice, and help shape the direction of the admissions department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Secondary Education 3 years preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in higher education admissions or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the admissions process, including evaluation criteria, application review, and enrollment management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slate, etc.) and other admissions-related technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for higher education and a commitment to helping students succeed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in leading recruitment events or admissions
  • Knowledge of financial aid and scholarship processes.
  • Experience working with international student populations.
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group advising to prospective students, parents, and counselors regarding program offerings, application procedures, and financial aid.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Admissions Advisors, ensuring effective training, development, and performance management.
  • Review and evaluate applications for admission, including academic records, standardized test scores, and personal statements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, department heads, and high school counselors.
  • Stay current with industry trends and institutional policies to provide up-to-date information to prospective students.
  • Analyze recruitment data and trends to help develop strategic outreach and recruitment initiatives.
  • Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, webinars, and other recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and enrollment teams to develop communication strategies and materials that engage prospective students.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that prospective students have a positive experience throughout the admissions process.
  • Prepare and present reports on admissions data and activities to senior leadership.
