Job Title: Senior Adult Social Worker - Hammersmith and Fulham
Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Pay Rate: £32 per hour
Liquid Personnel is looking for a Senior Adult Social Worker to join our esteemed client. This role requires a highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults with a mental health condition. The successful candidate will assist individuals, carers, and families in developing support plans and care and treatment plans to meet identified outcomes and treatment goals. This will be achieved using a strength-based, asset-based approach, incorporating family, friends, and community options where appropriate and when eligible needs are identified.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional social work, occupational therapy, and other support to individuals, children, their families, and carers in Hammersmith and Fulham, in line with current national legislation and local policies and procedures.
  • Use professional judgment to employ a range of interventions promoting choice, control, and independence.
  • Demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk, balancing support and control, and liaising with a wide range of professionals, including more senior levels.
  • Operate autonomously, demonstrating expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk, balancing support and control, and liaising with a wide range of professionals, including more senior levels.
  • Possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults with a mental health condition and be registered with Social Work England.
