Fluidra is looking for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in injection molding. This is an in-person role at our Carlsbad, CA office. The ideal candidate will have practical, hands-on experience with injection mold tooling setup, scientific molding principles, and the ability to perform and interpret mold-filling simulations. Additionally, you will:

  • Collaborate with product engineers to optimize part designs for manufacturability
  • Conduct and interpret mold-filling simulations to identify potential molding issues and optimize new tool designs
  • Review and provide feedback for injection mold tool designs
  • Optimize and troubleshoot injection molding processes using scientific molding principles
  • Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for molded parts
  • Support new tool validation and production launch activities with domestic and international suppliers
  • Some domestic and international travel is required to support tooling and molding processes. Travel rarely exceeds 3 weeks per year

EDUCATION

Degree not required — relevant experience valued equally; bachelor’s degree a plus.

Expected salary range is $130,000 - $160,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
